Weekly update – 29 April 2022

I can see clearly now…

Aerial shot of progress at frontage one

We thought it was about time to have a picture from the sky to share how progress looks at Frontage one.

Hopefully this paints a thousand words!

This week we started installing parapet units to the west of the works – 3 had been installed by Thursday am! Next week we hope to show you an image of one finished section of the pre cast walls.

Castle from the sky!

105 metres of 600m of the anorthosite has now been placed at Frontage 4.  The black rim that you can see around the rock is the highly durable geo textile fabric that helps to mitigate movement of the rocks once in place.

We are also continuing work for the drainage to Bandstand Field and sound pipes – watch this space!

Friendly reminder:

Please be respectfully reminded to keep a safe distance from the demarcated works area at all times.

Enjoy another Bank Holiday weekend all!
