Week 11 update – 20 November 2020

It’s cold out there, but works continue to hot up on Sub-frontage 1 (Long Curtain Moat).

This week has seen us work on removing the old revetment apron and extracting old steel sheet piles. We’ve also been maintaining the east working platform. We ensure we are in acceptable noise limits by using noise monitoring equipment throughout these works, which will be continuing into next week.

Please note there will be some weekend work due to favourable low tides over the next couple of days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Over on our Pier Road compound, we will shortly be replacing temporary fencing with new perimeter hoarding. And keep an eye out for our new hoarding boards which will be coming in the following weeks to provide some eye-catching information on the Southsea Coastal Scheme.

Next week sees us taking an increased number of deliveries to our compounds, which will mean longer vehicles visiting our sites. We aim to turn these deliveries around as quickly as possible and thank you for your patience.
