Following our major consultation in summer 2018, we went out and about across the city in February holding a new series of engagement events showing how our designs changed in response to your feedback.
Most recently in May 2019, we held further information events along the seafront to share our developments with regards to key themes you raised at the February consultation. Here, we spoke about cycling provision, protecting our historic assets and the next stages of the scheme.
The planning application for the Southsea Coastal Scheme is now live and going through public consultation with the Local Planning Authority. You can view and comment on the application HERE.
The final phase of the consultation has now closed, but the materials from both the February and May events are still available below. We would advise that you view the videos below showing why we need to build the scheme, then the video of the updated design. You can then read the consultation posters to gain the best possible understanding of the scheme design.
