Rupert Teasdale
Project Manager (Southsea Coastal Scheme) – Coastal Partners
I administer the detailed design contract to ensure it meets the objectives of the scheme and is deliver the scheme on programme and on budget. I will also undertake technical reviews of drawings and reports, provide guidance for any design changes and participate in public engagement activities.
I have a MSc in Engineering in the Coastal Environment from Southampton University and a BSc (Hons) in Earth Sciences from Brunel University. I grew up on the Sussex coast in a small town called Pett and have lived and worked in various locations throughout the UK and Australia.
I joined Coastal Partners as a coastal project engineer in August 2018. Prior to joining the partnership I worked in a similar role for the Gold Coast City Council and Mott MacDonald on a variety of coastal and flood protection schemes. I have also held roles in construction and engineering geology and am a chartered construction manager.
Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, surfing, cycling and travelling.
